Becky Baldwin: They must have known each other somehow. I don't think she
was adopted as a baby. Family legend says she was raised in Youngstown,
OH, but of you spell Youngstown backwards and turn the n and u around,
plus eliminate a few letters, it spells McCoy. That's coalfield detective
things I've run into in genealogy on the other side of the family.

Rebuttal:
In the late 1700's, a man originally from New York state founded a saw
mill and a grist mill in an area which would become Northeastern Ohio.
Thanks to his efforts and those of his compatriots, that area flourished
and grew as a commerce center and, in 1802 the area which John Young
originally surveyed and purchased became officially recorded as
Youngstown. In 1803, when Ohio was admitted to the Union, Youngstown was
part of that state.
