1. Nathan Hatfield, born March 8, 1742, lived in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, maried Margaret Schrock in 1765. Nathan died May 9, 1821, buried at Trappe, Pennsylvania. (Margaret Schrock Hatfield born January 11, 1753; died November 27, 1826 at 72-10-11; Buried at Brandywine Manor Presbyterian).   Nathan Hatfield was a private in Captain Jacob Webb's Company, 4th Battalion, Philadelphia County, Militia in 1778 Battalion. (see page 796, Book 1 Pennsylvania Archives , 6th and 7yh volumes). After the war was over his name appears on the Militia Rolls of North Hampton, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, (see paper 662-725)(Volume 3, Series 6). The first census was taken in 1790, and Nathan lived in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania (see paper 662), he had one son over 16, and three sons under 16, one daughter and one "full" person. Their children:   A. Nathan Hatfield born August 19, 1770, married (1st) Elizabeth Betts, then later (2nd) Craig.   B. William Hatfield born 1779; Died 1841. Fostoria Ohio. Lived in Newtown (now Cincinnati), Ohio. Married (1st) Mary Grimes Willis (a widow of Willis).
