His actual name is Henry Hutson Hatfield and he was referred to as "Hut".
It is correct that he was with a Nancy McCoy, however I'm not sure that
they
were married or don't have any proof of it. I do know that he fathered
two
sons named Mack and Clarence McCoy for a McCoy man he worked for who
couldn't
have any children of his own, this could be the link with Nancy McCoy.
His
second wife is listed as Millie Browning. My great grandmother's name was
Mollie Browning. I believe these people are one in the same. According
to
the tree, Hutson Hatfield descended from a George Hatfield. I know that
my
great great grandfather's name is George and his before him was
Jeremiah. I
do know that my great grandfather "Hut" Hatfield was born in 1864 this is
in
close relation to the date listed for him that was 1870. He died in 1950
and
is buried beside my great grandmother Mollie Browning in two private plots
atop a mountain above Newtown Creek or something similiar to that in
Williamson, WV. As far as I know he had about 6 or seven other children
named Hatfield. My grandfather was John Harper Hatfield, he was born
April
1918 in Pike County, Kentucky.
He has a sister still living in Williamson, WV her name is Birdie Hatfield
Gilman Nichols and she is somewhere in her late 70's

like any information about his descendents. My father John Irvin Hatfield
was raised in and around Mingo County WV. He was born on June 13, 1943.
We are probably distant relatives somehow and I am so glad that someone
