August 16 at 4:06am   Alberta Lea Staten Greathouse: Sorry, don't know what I was looking at that day but you are right about Allen s/o Samuel. John & Margaret had dtr. Nancy who md. William Staton my 3rd grt grdfthr. Allen is also my 3rd grt.grdfthr. Thanks for pointing that out. August 17 at 8:07pm   Debbie Davis My grandmother was Nora Meade married George W May, do they fit in your family line, if so, HOW. August 18 at 10:05am   Anna Matney I don't recognize the name but, will look at my records. August 18 at 8:08pm   Sissy Young Archibald, William, Samuel, Asa, Billy, Octavia (McCoys), then Allen McGinnis, Raynie Wilson, me (Hatfields) August 21 at 9:05am   Pamela Estep: Sissy, who did Billy marry? And was his name William? Who did Octavia marry? I didn't have those two children.. I assume Raynie is your dad. Who is your mother? and how do the two lines tie together. I'm a bit confused. August 21 at 9:00pm   Rod Hatfield ?Pamela Estep, I've made several connections to our lines over the past week. Have you checked my data online? August 21 at 9:20pm   Pamela Estep Not this past week Rod. I was gone over the weekend. I'll check it maybe tomorrow.. I have a migraine trying to develop at this moment. Just took something for it. don't feel like looking now but am trying to clear out some emails. August 21 at 9:38pm   Sissy Young Pamela - William "Billy" aka "Little Bill McCoy was married to Sarah Maynard and were parents of my gr-grandmother Octavia McCoy who was married to Albert McGinnis Hatfield. Their son, Allen Mcginnis Hatfield was my grandpa, who married Hulda Jane Hatfield, my grandma, and were the parents of my daddy, Raynie Wilson Hatfield and his 16 siblings. Grandpa Allen's first wife, Kentucky Hatfield, daughter of Bad 'Lias, died. My mom was Myrtle Starr Hatfield, dau. of John Samuel Marcum Starr and Letitia (Lettie) Violet Thompson. This is why I always say we're double barrell Hatfields and single shot McCoys! lol! Wednesday at 8:41pm   Sissy Young Our family tree is pretty shrubby! Wednesday at 8:43pm   Do Yoder Sissy, you mention Lettie Thompson; do you know her parents or if she had a brother James H Thompson? Wednesday at 8:53pm   Sissy Young Grandma Lettie's parents were Kenneth Pharoh & Virginia Thompson. Her brothers were Morton and Jess. Thursday at 5:53am   Anna Matney Sissy do you know Octavia's maiden name? Was she married to Asa McCoy and then Albert McGinnis? Thursday at 3:45pm   Pamela Estep Thanks Sissy Young.. I had part of that line, did some merging and added a few last names. Did Allen Maginnis Hatfield have a sister named Fannie who married John Clay? I have her attached there but when I click on her name she is the da/o Johnson Hatfield and Mary Scott. I need to detach her from one set of those parents but which ones? Thursday at 4:41pm   Sissy Young: Anna & Pamela - Octavia McCoy Hatfield - Asa (not Harmon) was her gr fthr. She was married to Albert McGinnis Hatfield and had Allen McGinnis and Phoebe Easter (she was called Fannie); after he died, she married Bertram (sp?) Slater and had two more children Minnie Lucille and William (Bill) Slater. Aunt Fannie was married to Greenway Clay, twice actually, with another couple of husbands in there, too, but no John Clay that I know of. There's a lot of misinformation out there with all the Allens and Alberts and McGinnis's and Phoebes and Fannies! lol! Yesterday at 8:59am   Anna Matney Thanks Sissy!! Your sure right about miss information.I'm tryin to get my mind wrapped around what you've given us..
