My husband is LeRoy Basil Hatfield ------July- 29 -1929
born to Clara Belle (Ashmore) Hatfield and LeRoy Hatfield, Canadian
(both deceased)

Little is known about the family background except that The elder
disappeared after some kind of trouble.......possibly the theft of an
automobile. Mother, Clara, unable to feed her son and two other
children, placed them in an orphanage.
I heard of the H&M reunion and decided to start looking for his 'roots'.
If this fits anywhere, I would like to know. I'll have to gather more
data concerning the births and death dates or other information I can
come up with.
