Alberta Greathouse: Jerry, Bill Staton's Mthr. Nancy was first cousin to
Randolph, their father's were brothers. Daniel being Randolph's fthr. &
John being Nancy's. Let me know if I'm wrong.
That's pretty much as I see it also, but that would mean that Bill Staton
was Randolph's McCoy's first cousin once removed - not his nephew. The
story I see frequently on the Internet is that Bill was the nephew of
Randolph. Unless there's another connection between the two of them I
can't work that one out.
