Another son, George Jr., died in April 1863. Both George and Jeremiah died of Typhoid Fever. Their sister, Lydia "Lidda", died in August 1863 of Typhoid Fever after washing her brothers clothing that had been returned. It seems George and Nancy lost three children of war related causes within four months
