Genealogy Research Tips

Tip of the Day:

If you want to print a document that you have found on Ancestry.com, you press the VIEW tab on the document, then when the document opens, look for a “tool” icon on the right side of the document (It has a crossed hammer and wrench) and click on that. Then you can press PRINT from there and you have the option of printing the whole image or a zoomed view image. Sometimes if it’s a census, I will print both the entire image and then also a zoomed image. Sometimes on some types of images, you will need to rotate them first to get the full-page best image. You will have that option when you hit that same tools icon.
